This web site was created to ensure that Mr Forester claim no more victims and so that other victims can find a forum to perhaps get restitution for their losses.
The Police in USA and Canada are aware of the content of this and other sites.
IRS and Revenue Canada have been notified of the victims losses.
This web site does have at least one immediate success story, a local Toronto business man was considering doing business with Mr Forester and doubted many claims presented to him, by google searching he found this forum and after contacting several members realized that he was about to get into a relationship that he did not want. He has been a terrific asset to this site by providing essential information for the ongoing investigations.
As you can see we choose our words carefully as Mr Forester visits the site daily to see what we have on him, he has managed to get two sites turned off so far as we spouted a bit too much. From now on we will all hold our anger and rely on the truth and the laws of Canada to take care of our alleged problems with this character.
About Matthew Forester
► Originally from Ottawa, Mr Forester claims to be a party planner, modeling agent and promoter.
There is no evidence that he has ever been trained or has actual experience in these fields but he seems to have an uncanny ability to convince people to hire him.
From Ottawa he moved to New York and now resides in Toronto.
Here is the history of "Alleged" frauds and crimes that have been reported to us:
- while employed in Ottawa by Ottawa Life Magazine Mr Forester was dismissed while under investigation of missing equipment
- While living in Ottawa with a foreign student EP many original pencil drawings by Picasso went missing from her belongings, these were family gifts that she treasured from her uncle.
- While living in Ottawa and working as a promoter of a wedding show he "sold" the grand prize to a guest of the show instead of doing a legitimate draw as he was hired to do.
- While living in Ottawa he was contracted to do work for Capital Prophet records, he was paid for this work and never provided the work or a refund. This contract was in partnership with RG who was also presented with a $7,000 payment cheque that went NSF from Mr Forester. No payment has ever been made to RG
- While living in New York he was employed by Nudgie Records

He alledgedly embezzled a large amount of money from this firm and the owner hired private investigator (former police officer) Lou Savelli of
Homefront Security (www.homefrontsecurity.com)
We have not been prvy to the result of this investigation as proceedings still may be forthcoming.
- While living in New York a judgement was awarded to Christina Barros for $26,7000.00 againts Mr Forester, this coincidentally was just before he left New York for Toronto.
A copy of this judgment can be found on this site as it is in the public record.
- While living in New York he ran an unregistered business called Think Tank Projects.
He has also used this name to book hotel rooms in Toronto
- While in New York he also worked with the people behind "Greenhouse" and, ironically, a company called "Skam Artist" that represents djs etc that he used for talent.
- September 2009 we received this information:
Matthew and the company Greenhouse and another company named Wild Bunch were hired to organize TIFF parties at 88 Sudbury, the owner realized something was not right and cancelled the agreement but there was considerable fallout. The estimated loss was in the range of $50,000
- October 2009 he and his wife failed to report to court regarding over $10,000 in rent not paid for their apartment. An eviction notice was issued and the landlord is seeking judgment against the pair.

- October 2009 he is apparently doing TIFF parties with a company called Uniq Lifestyle that handles clubs downtown in Toronto such as Cheval, Brant House, Atelier, etc.

These two upstanding citizens have moved three times in the last 6 months, failing to appear in court twice and not paying their landlords.
More files have been submitted to the Toronto Police officers that are investigating this pair
We have now been told that they have re-located to New York.
Neither of them have work visas or legal USA immigration papers
MIna / Vida has been collecting Paypal funds for a calendar that was never produced, we are waiting to hear if any of the funds have been returned.

To the public she uses an alias of Mina Stefan and lists her occupation as an adult oriented model. We have been told that the name Mina Stefan is the name of a "former" friends mother who is far from impressed.

Revenue Canada has now been presented with this information as well.
